After a few seconds, the device beeps and displays the information on the screen. "There are at least 15 raiders in the camp," Zeb says, handing the device to Pangolin so he could see it too.

Texmechs types `cat facility_schematic.txt` into the command prompt. The system responds by displaying the contents of "facility_schematic.txt" on the screen. The schematic displays a large research facility with multiple wings and underground levels. The text describes the different research departments located within the facility and where they are situated.

Veeyawn enters the cave. The air is cooler and damp. The rocks inside the cave glimmer in the faint light, casting elongated shadows. It's hard to see much at first. However, as their eyes adjust, Veeyawn notices that the cave goes deeper than they initially thought. The way becomes narrower, and the rocks begin to feel slippery.

The goat rolls its eyes and says, "I am not a god, Dirk. I'm just a goat who knows a few things about the occult."

You look at Zeb and see a bearded man with a spikey mohawk. He is wearing a sleeveless black shirt and loose pants with lots of pockets.

The goat looks at Dirk's needle and says, "Ah, a needle. Perfect for bloodletting. But please be careful, Dirk. Blood magic can be dangerous, especially for the inexperienced."

Texmechs opens the photo album and sees a picture of the crew, smiling and posing in front of the ship before embarking on their journey. As they look at the photo, they type `ls` into the terminal. The system responds with a list of files and folders in the current directory.

Veeyawn takes a closer look at the personal items scattered around the campsite. They find a backpack with some basic survival supplies, a worn-out notebook with some scribbles in it, and a shiny rock. The notebook seems to belong to someone named "Max," but it's hard to make sense of the writings, as they are mostly fragments of phrases and seemingly random numbers.

Veeyawn looks around and sees that they are now in a lush forest with tall trees, dense underbrush, and chirping birds. The air feels moist, and there is a slight breeze that rustles the leaves. The sky is partially cloudy, and it seems to be midday. There is no sign of the other players or the hologram of Ben Brown at the moment.

Texmechs notices an old terminal nearby and decides to use it to log into the BBS system. They take out the sticky note with the login and password they found earlier and input it into the terminal. The login is accepted, and they access the BBS system.
