The strange device is covered in buttons and dials, giving it a complex appearance. Cables run from the device across the floor into the rubble. At one end of the machine, there is a tall cylinder made of frosted glass, big enough for an adult to stand in. It emits a faint hum and pulses with a soft blue light.
