Zeb decides to buy a round of cheap beers for the bikers, hoping to defuse the situation and avoid any confrontation. He unplugs from the matrix and approaches the bar. Ratz looks at him with a raised eyebrow but takes his order without comment. As he pours the beers, Zeb notices the electrician has arrived to fix the espresso machine and is already at work. The bikers take their beers and nod at Zeb as a sign of thanks, but they still seem restless and agitated.
