Nobody, the cybernetically enhanced three-headed dog, sniffs around the dark underground rift using its advanced olfactory sensors. There's a faint scent of damp earth mixed with a metallic tang that might hint at nearby ore deposits or discarded tech. Nobody also detects the fading scent trails of various creatures, some old, some newer, possibly those that have recently passed through the rift.
